The complex has a main hall with capacity for 650 spectators, a completely open-plan 400 m2 rehearsal room, a press room, 2 multipurpose rooms, a VIP room, 8 individual dressing rooms, 4 collective dressing rooms, 2 vocal rooms, an orchestra pit , warehouses and 2 office floors with 7 individual offices, 2 archives, a meeting room and a customer service area. The Department of Culture, the Municipal Institute of Culture and the weekly Vista Alegre are located in the offices. The stage occupies an area close to 400 m2 and is equipped with the most modern stage equipment.
Spectacular work by the architects Alejandro Zaera Polo and Antonio Marqueríe Tamayo, begun in December 2003, which occupies an area of 1100 m2 next to the also remodeled Plaza de Miguel Hernández, with an overall cost of seven million euros, of which three have been provided by the Ministry of Culture, Education and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana.
