The order arises after a bidding process called by MI Ajuntament de Dènia through an open tender, being awarded the temporary union of companies FORTEZA-PASTOR-GRUPOTEC UTE
Starting from the existing Basic Project, the Execution Project is drawn up, which was not finally built.
PROJECT PHASE
The purpose of the Modified Basic and Execution Project is the adaptation of the project to the needs listed below:
1. Reduce the capacity of the main hall from 1.200 to 750 spectators.
2. Creation of a second room, room B, with 250 spectators.
3. Maintain the exterior image of the building, respecting, as faithfully as possible, the basic project proposal as well as its ideas and intentions, maintaining the geometry and design of the project.
All this work gives rise to an ambitious project that contemplates the creation of all these spaces in a superstructure of volumes attached to the main building where the different uses and services are located.
MAIN ROOM
The audition room is now located on the ground floor at +0'00m with a development on three floors and the stage separated from the audition area.
With a trapezoidal distribution and with an amphitheater, it has a capacity of 425 spectators in the stalls and 318 spectators in the amphitheater. Both the distribution of the stalls and the amphitheater have been made with terrace-shaped elements to facilitate lateral reflections and spatial impression during musical auditions.
It presents a volume close to 7.150 m3, considering the stage shell and 6.400 m3 for the theater configuration, resulting in a spectator volume ratio between 9.6 and 8,6 m3 / spectator.
