The room is located in the Palacio de Scala in Valencia.
The plant is practically rectangular, with dimensions of 16m long by 11m wide. The interior volume is divided into two parts, an area where the consellers are located and a public area. The public area is divided into two heights, forming an amphitheater on the upper floor.
The room has a volume of 960m3 and has capacity for 120 users.
The ground level is flat, with only one step in the central area of the consellers' area. The amphitheater also has a flat floor.
For the purposes of its acoustics, the interior geometry of the room is almost cubic, which can present problems of critical frequencies or resonances. Non-parallelism between opposing wall surfaces and the absorbent roof surface can partly avoid this problem, although sidewall lining material should be considered.
