YEAR: 2013 – ACOUSTIC STUDY
Finalist acoustic study. This project had as its object the intended uses of:
-Combined bands up to 400 musicians
-Large orchestra/band up to 130 musicians
-RGO Chorus
The rest of the uses, not because of the number of performances since the program is not known, but because of the great difference in terms of typology, configuration and acoustic parameters, are:
-jazz band
-Drum core
-Presentations
-Conferences
-Multimedia presentations
Exceptionally, the use of the room is planned for larger events where the musicians will perform simultaneously on stage and from the public:
-Large concerts up to 1.000-1.200 musicians This classification can conclude that:
a.- Of exceptional use for large concerts, both the geometric design of the stage, which must have a large seating area, and that of the public, which must have a larger step than usual, predominate.
b.- Elements must be introduced, both in the geometry and in the reverberation time, to adapt the room to the demands of the primary uses.
