ACOUSTIC STUDY, PROJECT and CONSTRUCTION

Sebastián Laverde MM '15 settled in Valencia after graduating from the Berklee campus in Spain with two master's degrees. He released his first album, Alma en Clave, in 2015, and regularly plays drums or vibraphone with Latin jazz teachers and Berklee teachers and alumni. Last November, he opened his own recording facility, Jazztone Studios, where he serves as artistic director.
Sebastián Laverde is a percussionist, composer and producer of Colombian origin, graduated from Berklee College of Music. During his musical career he has had the honor of working with artists such as Victor Mendoza, Andrés Cepeda, Maria Isabel Saavedra, Classico Latino, and also, through a recent record project, he is among the musicians who led to the recording of a repertoire of traditional Colombian music for the first time in the history of the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
He published his first album, Alma en Clave, in 2015, in which renowned musicians in the world of Latin jazz participate, such as Ivan “Melon” Lewis, Georvis Pico, Yoel Paez, Pedro Pablo Rodriguez, among others.
In November 2018, he opened his own recording facility, JAZZTONE STUDIOS, where he serves as the artistic director.
