The Mutxamel House of Culture is a relatively new public building (2001) with main use as a theater/auditorium.
The main hall, with a capacity for 534 spectators, 430 of them in the stalls and 104 in the amphitheater, has a stage box with a comb and installation of double-effect counterbalanced cuts that allows it to be a multifunctional space.
This center also has an exhibition room, a computer room, a meeting room, a children's and youth library, an adult library, a projection room, warehouses and common services of the building.
The installation of a stage shell designed as an element of acoustic improvement of the stage and room conditions that allows the use of theater to be compatible with that of musical performances is intended.
