The Montixelvo Cultural Center began to be built in 2003.
Since 2003, when the construction of the Montitxelvo Cultural Center began, there have been several phases necessary to reach its current state.
The last one, in 2015, consisted of the replacement of the ground floor floor, given its degraded state due to the execution of successive phases of work and the action of water leaks.
The purpose of this project is “Comprehensive adaptation of a multipurpose room in a Socio-Cultural Center. Phase I" is the enhancement or conditioning of the currently unused space that occupies the ground and first floor of the center as a multipurpose room, thus providing the population with the first closed area for musical, theatrical or meeting performances with a capacity and significant (multipurpose) versatility.
To do this, the access and public toilet block is adapted, the stage is reformed by adjusting its height, the sides and ceiling are acoustically conditioned and the necessary lighting, security and minimum ventilation installations are carried out for its start-up.
Given the multifunctional nature of the space, aspects of acoustic improvements in terms of diffusion, installation of air conditioning, equipment and adaptation of the amphitheater on the first floor are relegated to a later phase II.
